The Man Behind the Curtain

So who is this guy giving you all of these amazing tips and techniques you ask?

My name is Kevin Kramer. I have been drawing and sketching and most recently painting ever since I was around five or six years old and have never stopped. I have worked diligently to perfect my skills and techniques and have accumulated a solid chunk of knowledge about art and how to create it.

I have been featured in multiple galleries throughout the South and the web. Currently in Austin,Tx, I contribute illustrations to local design firms as well as design Gig posters for bands around town.

I have also done commission work for friends and colleagues over the years. My work is also featured on this site as examples along with works from some of my talented friends. I have work published in high volume publications and books thru ought the artist community.

I always continue to learn and expand my knowledge of art, techniques and to contiunlly grow and perfect my craft. This site is dedicated to helping you, the aspiring artist or hobbyist, discover new unfamiliar techniques and methods to really expand and grow your skills as an artist and share those pictures in your head.

Why Create A Site?

Ever hear the saying "if you really want to learn something try teaching it to someone else"?

Going thru all of the tips and techniques that I have learned over the years not only helps me refresh and cement them in my own head, they help others who may not have been as fortunate to have these tips shared with them.

This site is for you and anyone else who wants to grow as an artist.

Any ideas that may help you gain that extra edge or that missing piece of the puzzle you have been searching for will stick with you forever. This site will help you morph into the all powerful OZ just like the man behind the curtain. No self respecting artist with the craft at heart would keep these tips secret. As competitive and progressive as any craft may be, fundamental techniques must be learned first before there can be any worthwhile exploration.
